Join the Sacramento Tree Foundation and Friends of Sutter’s Fort for a unique tour blending history and trees! The fall colored leaves should be in their prime on this walking tour of Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park (SHP), located right in the heart of Midtown Sacramento.

We invite members and the general public to join us for a fun and FREE walking tour of the grounds of Sutter’s Fort SHP.

Friends of Sutter’s Fort greatly appreciates the natural beauty and biodiversity found at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park, and are thrilled to partner with the Sacramento Tree Foundation to help raise awareness of the natural resources at Sutter’s Fort.

This one-hour walking tour will provide an overview of the different species of trees found at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park, and some history behind them!

This tour is free and appropriate for all ages. Space is limited. The tour will be held rain or shine.
