Visiting both Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park and the California State Indian Museum just got a little easier this holiday season! Neither park unit has on-site parking, however city operated metered parking spaces are plentiful on the streets surrounding Sutter’s Fort SHP.  The City of Sacramento is once again offering free on-street metered parking offered on weekends (and after 4:30PM on weekdays) through December 24.

Sutter’s Fort SHP and the California State Indian Museum are open daily from 10AM to 5PM, closed for Christmas Day and New Years Day. Please call the parks directly for more information.
