Each year, our generous donors contribute to our Field Trip Fund – which is used to help schools overcome financial barriers they experience participating in the Environmental Living (ELP) and Environmental Studies (ESP) programs at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park.
Field trips have become increasingly expensive for schools, with rising costs in transportation and supplies making educational experiences outside the classroom very difficult. This competitive program provides schools with fee waivers and other support they will need to successfully complete their program. This funding is made entirely possible through generous donors who contribute to this fund throughout the year.
We are pleased to provide over $3,400 in Fee Waivers and Grant Assistance to the following schools as they prepare to participate in the 2019-20 ELP and ESP programs at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park (up from $3,000 in 2018-19).
