This photo was shared by Chuck Lippincott. His father took this photo of him sitting on top of one of the cannons at Sutter’s Fort SHP during a tour around 1975.
Photos help us see the changes at Sutter’s Fort SHP over time. In this photo you can see a large interpretive panel that is no longer at the Fort. The cannon is also no longer in this spot.
