On June 11, 2024, the California State Park and Recreation Commission will meet in West Sacramento to consider an Amendment to the Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park General Plan. This amendment is crucial as it will formalize the changes outlined in the new Interpretation Master Plan, reflecting California State Parks commitment to presenting a more complex, accurate, and inclusive history at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park.
We encourage community members to attend this important hearing to learn more about the General Plan and provide feedback in support of these efforts.
