We are delighted to announce that Honored Elders Day is returning to the California State Indian Museum! This is the 45th annual Honored Elders Day, a significant event that celebrates and respects the wisdom and contributions of Native elders.

We encourage members of the community to attend this important event taking place on June 1st, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. No Admission Fees.

Native artisans showcasing their work
Inspiring talks from selected speakers

Honored Elders Day takes place on the corner of 26th and L Street, on the lawn directly outside the State Indian Museum.
