Experience history in action during monthly Demonstration Days at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park! These engaging events are a wonderful opportunity for visitors of all ages to explore the skills, crafts, and more through hands-on activities and interactive learning.

Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park, Midtown Sacramento
Admission: Regular park admission fees apply

Experience firsthand some of the engaging activities featured in popular school field trip programs. Participate in interactive learning stations, witness volunteer demonstrations, enjoy guided tours of the park, and attend staff-led presentations discussing the colonial legacy of 1840s Sutter’s Fort.

Activities May Include*:
– Blacksmithing demonstrations
– Cooking and Baking demonstrations
– Rope making
– Candle making
– Cornhusk doll making (and other crafts)
