Grab your flashlights and lanterns, or purchase them from us at the door, as we illuminate history and raise funds for school programs at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park. This is a unique opportunity to take a self-guided tour of Sutter’s Fort after dark under the winter sky in Midtown, Sacramento.

Scout Program

Girl Scouts may sign up to participate in our Flashlights & Friends fun patch program. On arrival, they will get a checklist of activities to complete. Once they do, they can redeem the checklist for a fun patch. Boy Scouts are also welcome to purchase scouts tickets and pick up a fun patch.

FAQ’s

No outside food or drinks (reusable water bottled are OK). Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of Sutter’s Fort SHP. Only service dogs may enter the historic structure.
