State Parks Week: Guided Tours
Wednesday, June 12th
California State Parks Week is an annual event that celebrates the amazing diversity of California’s State Park System and the people who visit and help protect these iconic places. In its third year, California State Parks Week returns from June 12-16, 2024. This year’s tagline is “This is where you live.”
As part of the celebrations, events are taking place throughout the State Park System, including Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park! Join staff and volunteers at Sutter’s Fort on Wednesday June 12 for 30 minute guided history tours. Learn more about who lived in the area and how the establishment of Sutter’s Fort changed the course of California history. No reservations necessary, first come first served.
Tours will be offered at 11am, 1pm, and 2pm, and are included with regular museum admission.
